This incredible shot was taken from the Empire State Building in 2012! Imagine standing on the Main Deck Observatory on the 86th Floor of the Empire State Building! Besides the quite cool February temperatures, the drafty breeze AND the breathtaking view, makes you stop thinking! You are mesmerized by the visible energy of 8.347 million beating hearts (2012) in this city. On the mid-horizontal line to the left, you sense the dark Hudson River cutting through the immense landscape, while in contrary, located in the middle of the photograph, New York’s inner glow of the Theater District at Time Square radiants into the Universe. You enjoy the brilliant glow of the Paramount Building located on 1501 Broadway, (on the left from the center), between 43rd and 44th Streets the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood, with it’s globe and clocktower that crown the 33-story building, designed by architects Rapp & Rapp. Placed behind it, from your point of view is the One Astor Plaza, also known as 1515 Broadway and formerly the W. T. Grant Building, which counts fantastic 54-stories. The diagonal sharp-edged roof owning building, with it’s blue, way pointing antennae in the center, is the impressive Bank of America Tower. The Bryant Park offered an idyllic ice skating rink this season. You can feel the skaters’ joy even up here!
